Robotics

Viper Nation Education Foundation supports FIRST® LEGO® League, a robotics program for the elementary, middle and high school levels. Boasting FLL and FTC teams that consistently advance to World Championships, many Viper Nation teams are FIRST award winners and finalists. In 2017, Vandegrift High School announced their rookie FRC team and hosted 24 teams from as far away as Mississippi, for the 7th Annual Texas Robotic Roundup. For additional information about the ViperBots program at Vandegrift High School, please visit the ViperBot website.

VNEF Robotics Grant: Viper Nation Education Foundation sponsors an annual grant cycle in the fall for FIRST® LEGO® League robotics clubs within the 8 Viper Nation schools. All Viper Nation robotics team mentors are encouraged to apply for this grant:

VNEF annual FLL Scrimmage: Robotics students came together at our annual Robotics Scrimmage at Laura Bush Elementary on November 11, 2018, in preparation for this year’s FLL tournaments. We offer a special thank you to our volunteers and parents who made this event possible!

Viper Nation Education Foundation supports FIRST® LEGO® League, a robotics program for the elementary, middle and high school levels. Boasting FIRST® LEGO® League and FIRST® Tech Challenge teams, which consistently advance to World Championships, VNEF has been a long-time supporter of impactful STEM programming that is first-in-class.

Adult Volunteers: Student interest is growing and not all schools have adult volunteers. Technical experience is not required; only the willingness to lead a group of eager students. If you are interested in mentoring a team, please contact the Executive Director at ExecutiveDirector@ViperNationEF.org, or contact your school’s principal.

VNEF wishes to thank all of the adult parent and teacher mentors and coaches who facilitate school meeting space and generously provide their leadership. Viper Nation robotics would not happen without you!
For more information and to contribute your volunteer time or a financial gift to support this free event, please contact VNEF Executive Director at: ExecutiveDirector@ViperNationEF.org.
